Poetry performances at Maha are brought to you in collaboration with the Nebraska Writers Collective. Their All Writes Reserved program is the biggest youth spoken word poetry festival in the Midwest. Hundreds of students from dozens of high schools across Nebraska and western Iowa spend months writing, revising, and rehearsing original performance poetry before coming to Maha.
